About Bulltown Bookkeeping & Tax

We are Tim Yoder and Christine Hathaway, a husband-and-wife team of professional accountants with a combined experience of 55 years in bookkeeping, accounting, and taxation. As residents of Kalona, Iowa, we love serving our community businesses, but also have extensive experience working remotely and serve clients nationwide. 

Tim is originally from Colorado, where he was first licensed as a CPA in 1995. He served small business clients at BKD, LLP until 2001 when he returned to school and received a PhD in accounting from Penn State. Since then, Tim has been blessed with a rewarding career spanning academia, corporate bookkeeping, web content creation, and small business tax and accounting services.
